RIS Reloaded - Regionales Innovationssystem Region Stuttgart Reloaded

The Stuttgart Region continues to face extensive global challenges, particularly as a result of the transformation process in the leading automotive and mechanical engineering sectors as well as digitalization. One of the most important innovation locations in Europe is faced with the question of which products, processes and business models will secure value creation and jobs in the future. This requires a consistent further development of the existing regional strategy and systematic and targeted networking in the regional innovation system. 

In a participative, agile process with regional partners from business, science, local authorities, politics and society, RIS Reloaded identifies the future topics for the Stuttgart Region, bundles the activities of the Regional Innovation System (RIS) and creates better visibility of the offerings for SMEs.

The foundation for this is the ongoing updating of the regional strategy from 2020 and the strategic examination of future topics. Collaborative working groups are used to establish targeted networking between RIS stakeholders and develop new, future-proof offerings for SMEs, intermediaries and society.

RIS Reloaded contributes to the expansion and substantial strengthening of the RIS in the Stuttgart region by improving transparency, exchange and cooperation as well as the strategic examination of future topics. By involving both existing and new structures, cooperation in the RIS is strengthened and intermediaries that were previously not/only rarely involved are also addressed.
