The EXPLORE project's main focus is to exploit the full potential of the accumulated knowledge portfolio of the development of Production Technologies supported by the European Commission, by promoting its utilization in the development of advanced products and services for manufacturing industries in Europe.

The project aims to develop a framework capable of promoting and supporting further industrial exploitation of existing results of European research projects, i.e. to identify, develop and promote the utilization of existing technologies and their applications in other sectors, implementing the cross-fertilisation concept among manufacturing and taking full advantage of the cross-sectorial nature of most of the Production Technologies.

Persued outcome of the project includes to facilitate the access of companies (specially SME's) and sectors (also mid and low tech) to the results of EU R&D Projects (matching "demand" and "offer").
