CORINNA

co-funded under INTERREG III C

The aim is to exhaust the full innovation potential in the partner regions by stimulating and intensifying cross-border co-operation in shared areas of technology. At present, the level of co-operation between Austria, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia and in technology and innovation is somewhat low. Major differences in the political and federal system, legislation, policies and development programmes as well as language barriers are obstacles to efficient collaboration in politics and business.

The first aim of the CORINNA project is to increase mutual understanding between partner regions, their innovation systems, policies and strategies. The second aim is to identify best practice examples for developing the regional innovation strategy and potential co-operation projects. The project partners intend to set up a sustainable network of regional organisations in the development of technology and innovation.

The Stuttgart Region - one of the most innovative regions in Europe - is actively involved in this project as an outside expert.
