Newer forms of mobility, such as connected and automated driving or MaaS ‘Mobility as a Service’, blur classic understandings of mobility options. The project aims to increase the ability of public transport authorities to deal with these new mobility trends. This will be achieved by developing strategies and tools for public (transport) authorities that strengthen their planning capacities. “Stuttgart Region focuses on the effects and potentials of connected and automated vehicles as feeders for rail passenger transport which are investigated by this study.

The project duration is two years (2020-2022) and the funding amount 1,072,229.19 Euros with a funding rate of 80%.
