The objective of this project was to come up with draft measures for cutting the travel time on the cross-border rail link between Zurich and Stuttgart from 3 hours to 2 hours 25 minutes by 2015. The partners involved in the project were the regional planning associations and local authorities affected by the line, the Stuttgart Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the state of Baden-Württemberg and the Swiss cantons affected.
